Course code: SNM402

This online module runs in the Spring semester and is worth 15 credits at level 7.
Start date: 12 February 2025
Description
Designed in conjunction with ºù«Ӱҵ Children's Hospital, this module is for qualified healthcare professionals who work in a paediatric setting or with paediatric patients. It is designed to give you the knowledge and skills to provide paediatric wound care in line with current national policy.
The needs of the healthcare system are ever changing and paediatric patients are seen in a variety of settings. You will gain a holistic understanding of the theory and practice of paediatric wound care, to enhance your skills and evidence-based decision-making abilities and confidence in this area. You will critically analyse the wound care that you provide in your clinical setting by identifying how the relevant theories, policy, guidelines and protocols underpin your practice.
