Tace Morgan obtained a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from Newcastle University in 2017. She then went on to achieve an MSc(Res) in Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Manufacturing Technologies from the University of ºù«Ӱҵ in 2018. She joined the AMRC as a Graduate Engineer and has been involved in a range of projects across different departments.
As a Senior Engineer, Tace worked on projects across many sectors including Aerospace, Energy Storage, with a strong focus on Sustainability. She technically led and managed AMRC projects looking to improve sustainability of the manufacturing processes of the AMRC partners and customers. Tace worked on a number of customer funded projects and Innovate UK funded grant projects. Tace completed and MSc in Engineering Management at the University of ºù«Ӱҵ, her thesis examined the applicability of lean management in engineering research.
Tace is the Sustainability Theme Lead at the AMRC. In this role Tace is responsible for the shaping and facilitating the delivery of the AMRC’s sustainability strategy. Tace develops the AMRC’s sustainability research and development portfolio, building stronger links with academia and industry.
