Why did you decide to study landscape architecture at ºù«Ӱҵ?

I applied to pursue my masters in landscape architecture, particularly from ºù«Ӱҵ, as I ardently believe that this university provides the perfect platform to hone myself with knowledge in the field of landscape architecture, with the support of expert staff and facilities.

ºù«Ӱҵ city is situated at the edge of the beautiful Peak District National Park, so this city with its alluring landscape and culture supports nature conservation by creating spaces that helps to improve the environment and people's lives.

Taking into consideration all the aspects of improving in educational and personal experience, I felt that Landscape Architecture at ºù«Ӱҵ has provided me with all the vital aspects required.

What did you most enjoy about your time in ºù«Ӱҵ?

Being a part of the University as a student was the most interesting and enjoyable part, as I got the opportunity to visit not only the beautiful places in ºù«Ӱҵ, but I also took part in an international landscape design workshop in China,  where I worked in a multi-disciplinary team.

The student life in ºù«Ӱҵ improved my knowledge and experience in Landscape through interaction with different people, which later gave me an edge over others, professionally in the field of landscape architecture.

How did your course prepare you for your current job?

Through the Landscape Architecture MA course, I was involved in a diverse range of projects from small-scale garden design to large scale urban planning with introduction to Landscape Character Assessment and LVIA.

As a part of the course, I also gained knowledge about various softwares that are used professionally. Therefore, the course not only provided experience and knowledge but also helped in creating a unique portfolio with umpteen landscape projects to prepare me as a Landscape Architect professionally.

What advice would you give to someone thinking of studying in the School of Architecture and Landscape?

ºù«Ӱҵ is one of the best universities in the world with expert staff.
