ºù«Ӱҵ our organisation

has been ºù«Ӱҵ's leading provider of music tuition for over 35 years. During this time, we have shared our passion for music with over 2,000 students, ranging from beginners to retired adults seeking a new hobby. We pride ourselves on our consultative approach, placing great importance on the unique needs of each student. We offer one-on-one lessons in piano, keyboard, guitar, ukulele, vocals, drums, violin, and drama, as well as a variety of group and band classes. Our goal is to create a welcoming environment that fosters creativity and a love for music. 


The challenge

We were looking to update our website and social media channels which came with the challenge of marketing the school to new customers, as well as producing content to engage our existing students. We were also looking to improve the way we track and record the efficacy of our online marketing.


What we did

The role was created and was designed so that there was a split between working on our website to improve its aesthetic and performance, and working with the tutors and students at the school to create content for the site and our social media channels. The intern was given tasks by the school but was also given the freedom to research and work on areas which they felt would be of benefit. 


The result

The intern greatly improved the aesthetic of our website, as well as the functionality with regards to SEO and readability. They also worked with our tutors and students to create new and engaging new content for our social media channels. In the month after they completed the internship we recorded the most enquiries and trial lessons that we have ever had. The intern also helped to greatly improve our application and interpretation of tracking platforms such as Google Analytics to help us monitor how effective our marketing campaigns are moving forwards.


We really appreciate the University facilitating this internship. We found the University very easy to work with and we couldn't have asked for the process to go any better. The intern worked really well within the team here and their work bore great results.
