Mock Assessment Centres

Our Mock Assessment Centres provide a unique opportunity to network with students from a wide range of disciplines and see them in action. As a facilitator, you observe students working in groups on typical assessment centre tasks and provide valuable feedback to help them prepare for real assessment centres. Bring along a pop-up banner to promote your organisation and talk to students during the networking break.

Networking Events

Raise your profile and provide career insights by chatting informally with students at one of our networking events.

Webinars and Presentations

Host a webinar or presentation and reach a targeted audience of students.

We can support you with an in-person event or a platform for delivery that allows you to connect in real-time, recording the session so that it is available to view on-demand afterwards.

We can also help you to promote your own externally-hosted events to our students.

Thank you for promoting our webinar to your students... The level of interest, enthusiasm and engagement during the event was amazing.

Other activities

Pop-up Stands

Increase your brand awareness in a high footfall area by bringing your own pop-up banner and take away materials and chatting informally with passing students (charges apply in some venues - contact us to take advantage of reduced rates in the Students' Union).

Mock Interviews

Students value being able to practice their interview technique with an experienced industry interviewer. Your constructive feedback can help students to identify strengths, improve weaknesses, reduce interview anxiety and develop confidence in preparation for the real thing.

Conducted on campus, by telephone or using video conference software, mock interviews provide you with the opportunity to talent spot and keep your brand visible.

Appointments

Ideal as a follow-up activity after attending one of our fairs or a pop-up stand or for those that prefer to speak to students on an individual basis.

We can arrange a schedule of one-to-one informal appointments (on campus, by telephone or using video conference software) and promote these to your target audience.

Video Case Studies

Give students an insight into your organisation or occupation.

Create a ‘Day in the life of...’ visual or take students on a tour of your office/factory/site. Video case studies are hosted on the Careers Service website allowing students to access them at any time.
