ºù«Ӱҵ 15 months after graduation, you will be invited to complete the Graduate Outcomes survey. Whether you are a UK or international student and have completed an undergraduate, postgraduate taught, or postgraduate research degree, your participation will be truly valuable to the University.

The survey

The Graduate Outcomes survey is the biggest annual social survey in the UK, capturing the activities and perspectives of recent graduates, and it is run by the . The collected data is anonymised and used to understand whether graduates are in employment, have continued with further study, or are doing something else, and to what extent their qualifications played a part. 

The survey covers UK and international graduates who were registered as full-time, part-time or distance learners. The annual survey cohort includes anyone who successfully completed a course at first or higher degree levels (including degrees, diplomas, and certificates).

All UK higher education institutions are legally required to take part in the survey. Data is collected and returned in accordance with guidelines set by HESA.


Why get involved

Our graduates’ anonymised responses to the survey are instrumental in:

  • Helping future students make informed decisions about their choice of university or course;
  • Supporting current students in their jobs research and career planning;
  • Helping the University to review and improve courses, and the careers and employability support we offer;
  • Contributing to the University’s positioning in league tables;
  • Influencing the reputation of our University and alumni community.

Our latest results

The latest results were updated in June 2024 and reflect the data for the 2021/22 graduating cohort. The next data set will be data for students who graduated in the 2022/23 academic year, and this is expected to be available in June 2025.

According to the most recent Graduate Outcomes survey data, 92% of University of ºù«Ӱҵ graduates were in employment or further study 15 months after finishing their studies, 86% of whom were in graduate-level employment or further study (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2021/22).
