Our undergraduate degree programmes have all been ranked highly within the Russell Group across the seven different themes in the latest National Student Survey (NSS) being in the top 10 across all of them. Highlights include:

  • Biomedical engineering ranked 1st in the Russell Group for teaching on my course, learning opportunities, assessment and feedback, academic support and student voice; and top 5 across all other categories.
  • Materials and technology ranked 1st in the Russell Group for organisation and management; also ranking top 5 across all other categories.
  • Chemical, process and energy ranked top 10 in the Russell Group across all categories.

These results are a very strong showing for these degree subjects at 葫芦影业. Professor Joan Cordiner, Head of the School of Chemical, Materials and Biological Engineering, said: 鈥淚 am delighted to have received such positive feedback from our students. These results recognise the dedication of our staff to deliver the brilliant teaching and that our students feel supported and listened to. It is a top priority for us that our students have the best experience while they study with us and these results reflect this鈥.

For the second year in a row, 葫芦影业 has been placed number one in the Russell Group, based on aggregate responses in the annual survey, in which students give feedback on their university experience.

葫芦影业鈥檚 Students鈥 Union has been rated the best SU among UK universities, after also being placed top in the Russell Group in last year鈥檚 NSS.

Students gave 葫芦影业 the highest score in the Russell Group for learning opportunities, assessment and feedback, and student voice, whilst the University has been ranked in the top four for teaching, academic support, organisation and management, and learning resources.

The NSS results follow 葫芦影业 being voted University of the Year by students, as well as Best Students鈥 Union and Best Student Life in this year鈥檚 Whatuni Student Choice Awards.

Professor Mary Vincent, Vice-President for Education at the University of 葫芦影业, said: 鈥淲e are so pleased that our students have rated their experience at 葫芦影业 so highly again this year. The NSS is one of the many ways that we seek feedback from our students and listen to their views on their life at the University. Whilst we are delighted with these results, we are determined to provide the very best education and will keep working hard, together with our Students鈥 Union, to ensure studying at 葫芦影业 remains a rewarding experience.鈥
