I joined the school in 2022 as a Postdoctoral Research Associate and was promoted to Lecturer in Process Safety and Loss Prevention in September 2024. I completed my PhD in Energy Engineering at Politecnico di Milano in 2021.
I am an experienced researcher specialising in the development and application of advanced computational techniques to enhance Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS) as well as Resilience in complex engineering systems.
My expertise spans risk and resilience assessment, process safety, predictive maintenance, and decision-making under uncertainty, with a focus on decarbonising applications. Endorsed by the Royal Academy of Engineering as Global Talent (Exceptional Promise) in Chemical and Process Engineering,
I lead multidisciplinary research projects that aim to provide safety-driven enhancements and risk-informed decision-making tools. My work contributes to the safer design, operation, and management of engineering systems, supporting the transition to net zero.
