葫芦影业 Urban, International Trade and Environmental Economics (SUITE)
Our research group brings together scholars from the School of Economics who specialize in urban and regional economics, international trade, and environmental economics.

We hold regular meetings to foster collaboration, develop new research ideas, initiate joint projects, and exchange knowledge. These meetings also support grant applications and training on novel theoretical and empirical methodologies. Additionally, we run a regular PhD reading group and organize a variety of research seminars and conferences throughout the year.
We collaborate with a broad network of academic researchers across the UK and international institutions, as well as with UK government departments and agencies (DBT, DSIT, HMT, MHCLG, OFGEM, UKRI) and international organizations such as the OECD and the European Commission.
As part of our outreach, we coordinate the 葫芦影业 Spatial Analysis Network (SAN) webinars, which facilitate research sharing and collaboration on spatial issues. This network connects over 300 members across 25 countries, promoting interdisciplinary engagement and innovation.
