Profile: Helping to improve the NHS - Meet Dr Abigail Tazzyman

Abigail joined the ��«Ӱҵ Methods Institute as a Lecturer in Qualitative Methods in September 2020. Previously she was a Research Associate at Alliance Manchester Business School, University of Manchester. Abigail completed a PhD at the University of York in 2015. Her thesis investigated female cultures of body modification across the life course, focusing on how women learn practices and the social norms which surround them. Taking an interdisciplinary approach, her research interests focus on organisation studies, inequalities and medical sociology/health services research and their intersection.
