Dr Michael Trikić, Director of Student Experience in the School of Chemical, Materials and Biological Engineering, said: “The conference was meticulously organised, featuring a dynamic blend of keynote addresses, themed paper presentations with ample time for insightful discussions, workshops, Special Interest Group meetings, and a variety of other events, including wellness activities.

The conference set a new standard for future events, primarily due to its exceptional inclusivity and welcoming atmosphere. Whether attendees were seasoned conference-goers or first-timers, all felt equally valued and engaged. The event offered a wealth of opportunities for learning, sharing best practices and forging potential collaborations.”

Ya He, PhD student from the Faculty of Engineering, said: “Attending SEFI has been an enriching experience as I was able to meet academics and other PhD students from different countries in engineering education, as well as entrepreneurs in the field with diverse perspectives. In addition, presenting my research at this conference was particularly rewarding as insightful comments have provided new avenues for refining my future work and seeking collaborations.”
