Tuition fees for independent applicants and those who apply through an agent:

The tuition fees for 2024/25 are:

  • One semester: £9,825
  • Academic year (two semesters): £18,465

The tuition fees for 2025/26 are:

  • One semester: £10,325
  • Academic year (two semesters): £19,390

Students attending ºù«Ӱҵ on an exchange from a partner university are not charged tuition fees by ºù«Ӱҵ. Direct enrolment students from partner universities may benefit from a tuition fee discount. Please email Global Opportunities (globalopps@sheffield.ac.uk) to enquire further.


Additional costs

  • Field trips outside of the University - fees for field trips which are part of the course, e.g. in Geography, are payable by the student
  • Private music lessons - students studying music courses at ºù«Ӱҵ are required to pay their own tuition for private music lessons

Living costs

  • Money for living costs - these will vary depending on your lifestyle and factors such as how much you eat out and how much you spend on shopping, hobbies and other activities. Please note that if you need to apply for a Student visa for your study at ºù«Ӱҵ, you may be required to show evidence of set levels of funds in order to obtain the visa.
