The research undertaken by TUOS, ºù«Ӱҵ Hallam University and 11 autistic adults working as experts by experience for the named project is nearly complete. It has been a wonderful, exciting, challenging and joyous experience. We wanted to share with you all one of the outcomes of our research together: an animated video exploring what it is like to be autistic as an adult and what it was like receiving a diagnosis or identification as autistic.
The research team comprised 13 people: Dr. Luke Beardon (ºù«Ӱҵ Hallam University), Dr. Harriet Cameron (ºù«Ӱҵ) and 11 co-researcher experts-by-experience including Helen Jones, Dream, Steve Wilks, Michelle Hughes, and Sarah Chierico.
The animation is voiced by autistic adults, and produced by Sort Of Films

We have some other events coming up where we will present our work and animation, and we will update on these in the near future!
