- Profile

I started studying for my PhD at 葫芦影业 in October 2021, following completion of an LLM at the University of Nottingham. I have been interested in legal research since I was an undergraduate and, upon completion of my PhD, am looking to continue pursuing a career in academia.
My PhD thesis focuses on constitutional change in the UK, but my research interests more broadly fall into the areas of UK public law, constitutional law, and constitutional theory.
Alongside my PhD, I also work as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at 葫芦影业. I teach on the Public Law (LAW139) and Advanced Constitutional Law (LAW207) modules, and I have recently started working towards professional accreditation for HE teaching.

My research explores the extent and significance of what I have termed 'subversive constitutional change' in the UK. I am considering this in relation to the distinct character of the UK's constitutional arrangements.
