Before joining ºù«Ӱҵ University Management School, I worked at Nottingham University Business School and in industry.

Research interests

My background in corporate finance, both in academia and industry, has led me to focus my research on initial public offerings, seasoned equity offerings, venture capital, private equity, and market risk. Additionally, I am interested in employing Machine Learning techniques to tackle finance-related challenges.

Teaching interests

As an experienced educator with a HEA Fellowship and a PGCHE qualification, I have specialised in making finance simple and enjoyable for everyone. I have taught finance at various academic levels, including Undergraduate, MSc, MBA and Executive Education modules. Refrain from letting subjects like Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Financial Markets, and Fixed Interest Investment intimidate you - I am here to assist you. With years of teaching experience and a profound understanding of these topics, I have conducted extensive research to ensure that my expertise enhances your learning experience.

PhD Supervision

If you have a passion for finance and are interested in pursuing a PhD, I am open to proposals on various topics. These include initial public offerings, seasoned equity offerings, ESG, venture capital, private equity, and exploring the use of Machine Learning to solve finance-related problems. I have experience supervising PhD students and helping them complete their academic programs successfully.
