The lecturers have vast industry experience and help research for the world's largest companies.

I was looking for a course that would broaden my perspectives and expose me to high-level marketing knowledge, and that's exactly what I gained. The professional environment of the whole management school was just exceptional. The careers service gives significant job application support and their staff are always an email away for any advice you may need. Furthermore, I had the chance to collaborate with people from all over the world, learn from highly qualified teachers, study in superb facilities and live in a multicultural and vivid city. In addition to this, I made some great friends from across the world, who I’m still in contact with.

Having the opportunity to do a company-based project was very beneficial for my future career.

I successfully secured a company project by participating in a series of employability seminars and attending an interview at the University.

My project focused on product marketing concerning entrepreneurial learning and digital marketing for the London-based business networking company ‘The Supper Club’. Thanks to this project, I was able to visit the company’s head office and prepare a presentation and report with my findings as well as attend networking events which helped me get my first contacts. All in all, this experience equipped me with the skills to communicate appropriately in a corporate setting.

The experiences, skills and learning I gained from my MSc are applied every day in my role as a Marketing Professional and Social Entrepreneur.

My time studying at the University of ºù«Ӱҵ gave me a useful foundation to build upon when entering the marketing industry. From day one I was exposed to a great mix of theoretical and practical workshops, visiting speakers and class debates that challenged me and made me justify my views.

During my postgraduate degree, I acquired skills in project and time management, public speaking, research, and keeping up-to-date with the field. The other incredibly useful thing I gained from the MSc was the ability to write concisely in a more corporate manner.

Even now I have graduated, both the university and its staff still support my career and follow my progression with enthusiasm and encouragement.

Co-founding Tsemberi was just the start.

Fashion sustainability and circular economy have always been significant aspects of Cypriot heritage. However, over the years this notion started to fade away in Cyprus due to various social and economical factors. Tsemberi started as a fashion sustainability project which invited young Cypriot fashion designers to create sustainable and zero-waste designs inspired by Cypriot cultural heritage. Overall, we strive to help young Cypriot fashion designers to grow and gain some exposure both on a local and global level.

This has led to the launch of a much bigger organisation called The Fashion Heritage Network Cyprus (FHNC). This new platform includes a growing group of young Cypriots and especially Fashion designers who aspire to promote Cypriot heritage through sustainable fashion. This will be achieved through fashion exhibitions, fashion shows, workshops and participation in various local and international cultural events.

Take advantage of all the University has to offer.
