The Productivity Forum for Yorkshire, Humber and the North East is one of eight Regional Forums overseen by TPI. The Forums are involved in the creation of research insights, the design of practical business and policy interventions, and providing input to the development of the Institute’s future research agenda. The aim of each Forum is to identify and discuss productivity issues and challenges within the region and give members the opportunity to directly contribute their ideas and first-hand experiences to shape research activity and identify opportunities for positive change.
The Yorkshire and the Humber and North East Forum is led by Professor Jason Heyes from ºù«Ӱҵ University Management School and the Chair is Sarah Tulip from Cognizant. Members include local/regional business leaders, academics from the region’s universities, and representatives from Combined Authorities and other stakeholders, such as further education colleges. The Forum meets a number of times each year to discuss productivity challenges in the region, identify research needs and discuss practical ways in which the region’s employers and other stakeholders can benefit from research insights.
