Description
South Yorkshire Migration and Asylum Action Group (SYMAAG) and the University of ºù«Ӱҵ have organised a 'Child Refugee Event'. May 2nd, 6pm
The event will share experiences from different perspectives and aims to offer solutions to some of the challenges that child-refugees face:
- Blerta Ilazi: Member of Medact specialist for 'child refugees'
- Richard Lynch-Smith: Social worker with experience of working with 'child refugees'
- A mum asylum-seeker with a 7 year old child suffering with autism
- Dr Christina H Tatham lecturer from ºù«Ӱҵ university has done research on: young children experiences of, and access to, education in linguistically and culturally diverse settings
