Calling PhD students!

Would you like to present your work to a friendly audience in 2024?

In the Migration Research Group we would like to create more opportunities for PhD students from across the university to present their ongoing PhD research. With this in mind, we are planning to put on some panel sessions in 2024 where PhD students working on migration and borders related themes can present their work-in-progress in a friendly and supportive environment. Students from any department, and at any stage in their PhD journey are welcome to present. Perhaps you are a new PhD student and would like to present your project idea. Perhaps you are a second year in the middle of fieldwork and would like to present some early findings, or methodological challenges that you have faced (or overcome)? Perhaps you are writing up and would like to present your findings to test out your analysis. Maybe you have written your first paper and would like to get feedback on it? Wherever you are in your PhD journey we’d love to hear from you.

To express an interest in presenting in a session with 2 or 3 other students in spring or summer 2024, please fill in  form.

Deadline: 15th January 2024
