Exploring the Information needs of people living with non-smoking lung cancer

People living with non-smoking lung cancer have information needs as they live and cope with their particular situation.

This research aims to improve support for people by finding out:

  • What are their individual information needs?
  • What stops people getting the information they need, and what helps them?
  • How best to provide information.

The research will be guided by volunteers including people living with lung cancer, non-smoking lung cancer charities, and healthcare professionals.

The project will use a variety of research methods including a survey and interviews of people living with non-smoking lung cancer, interviews with cancer charities and healthcare professionals, and a co-production workshop to develop resources to help people living with non-smoking lung cancer.
