After almost 15 years, the research centre Music, Mind, Machine becomes the centre of excellence ‘Muses, Mind, Machine’.
The centre will keep its interdisciplinary approach to research, its focus on addressing fundamental and applied research questions, and continues to offer a platform for collaboration, knowledge sharing, innovation and internationalisation.
The main difference will be that the core interest is not restricted to musical skills and experiences, but broadened to include other creative arts as well.
This broadened scope will develop over time through collaborations with different creative arts partners and with academics specialising in other art forms such as creative writing, theatre, visual arts and dance.
