The Hidden Disabilities Sunflower scheme offers a discreet way for people with hidden disabilities to show that they may need extra support and understanding.
As members of the scheme, we can provide you with a free lanyard if you’d like to indicate that you have an invisible disability.
How to get a lanyard
You can collect a lanyard from any of the locations below.
You won’t need to explain your condition or give your name, but you may be asked to confirm that you’re a student at the University.
If you see someone wearing a sunflower lanyard
If you see someone wearing a hidden disabilities sunflower lanyard, they may have a disability, condition or chronic illness that is not immediately obvious.
