NEW - Important Information for Suppliers

The Procurement Act of 2023 (PA2023) went live on 24th February 2025, here is information that may be useful to our suppliers. The Act has replaced the Public Contract Regulations of 2015 (PCR2015).

Whilst the University of ºù«Ӱҵ is not a Contracting Authority, it reserves the right from time to time to operate under the Procurement Act. This will most likely be as a result of benefitting from advantages available in using Framework Agreements put together under PCR2015 or PA2023, or where grant funding bodies specify that we must as part of the terms and conditions of how we spend their grants.

The Cabinet Office has produced guidance on The Procurement Act, what it means for suppliers, its benefits and how supplier can prepare for reading with Public Sector Authorities under the Procurement Act 2023 which will give suppliers a broad understanding of the key changes coming into effect in February 2025. Central Digital Platform

Suppliers may be familiar with Contracts Finder and Find a Tender (FTS) which are being rolled into the new Central Digital Platform.

The Cabinet Office have published a guide on the  which covers key information about the platform for both suppliers and buyers.
