- Research practice experience - an exciting work-based practice experience module
- Dissertation - a flexible dissertation opportunity allowing students to build on their research practice experiences and where feasible tailor it to their own particular learning needs, interest and context.
Programme Lead Dr Jennifer Read said "We are delighted to have been successful in this prestigious award. We are one of only three HEIs to achieve this success and the competition was extremely strong. Our success is a testament to the significant support, collaboration and hard work of people across the Faculty and Regional NHS trusts and organisations.
"We have a team of highly skilled experts from across the faculty and our partner NHS partner organisations: The NIHR Local Clinical Research Network and three local NHS Trusts: ºù«Ӱҵ Teaching Hospitals; ºù«Ӱҵ Health and social care and Mid Yorkshire Hospitals. Together we aim to design an alternative, flexible and accessible route into health, social care and clinical research delivery which will enable the delivery of high-quality research in everyday health, social care and clinical settings"
Subject to approval, our programme will allow for Recognition of Previous Learning (RPL) for recognition of learning gained from other modules (at the University of ºù«Ӱҵ or other HEIs). Equivalent work-based experiences may also be considered.
