Hi, I’m Susie and I am a Student Recruitment Intern. In 2024 I graduated from the University of ºù«Ӱҵ with a degree in Psychology after moving here from Newcastle. My role involves travelling around the UK, promoting Higher Education and the University of ºù«Ӱҵ at careers fairs; as well as delivering talks and assisting in campus based events. I am excited to begin supporting prospective students through this important period in their life, as well as helping them decide whether ºù«Ӱҵ is the right fit for them!

I felt at home in ºù«Ӱҵ the day I moved here and only fell in love with the city more throughout my three years studying at the University. During my studies I joined both the volleyball club and represented the Psychology Society in the netball campus league, which gave me the opportunity to meet so many of my current friends.

One of the things I love about ºù«Ӱҵ is its diversity. Being in the proximity of both a bustling city centre and the Peak District meant I was never lacking in fun things to do in my free time.
