Ananthapathmanabhan M S

Ananthapathmanabhan came from India to study Science Communication and gained the skills he needed to kick-start his career as a science writer and podcast producer.
After completing her undergraduate degree in Psychology here at ºù«Ӱҵ, Gemma was keen to learn how to share research in an accessible way. During her Science Communication MSc research project, Gemma was able to work with academics in the School of Psychology to create useful outputs informing different audiences about addiction.
For the final project of his Science Communication MSc course, Alex chose to make a documentary that followed an investigation into the weather in ºù«Ӱҵ; the findings of this have recently been published in a high profile journal.
Bethany’s MSc in Science Communication gave her the skills necessary to become the Campaigns and Advocacy Officer at the national blood cancer charity, Leukaemia Care.
Marni joined the Wellcome Trust graduate scheme after completing the Science Communication MSc. Marni now uses the skills she developed on the course every day, working with partners like the World Health Organization to challenge policy and strengthen health research.
It was during his undergraduate studies here at ºù«Ӱҵ that Jonathan realised that his passion sat within science communication and communicating to those who can bring about direct change in scientific research.
Gege completed a placement here at ºù«Ӱҵ during her Science Communication MSc degree, allowing her to put her new skills into practice to develop online stories showcasing the university's research. Since graduating, Gege has completed an internship with Chemistry World and now continues to do freelance work for the publication.
