Profile

I started working at the School of East Asian Studies in 2014. My primary role involves teaching the Korean language and translation to Korean specialists and creating digital microlearning resources using Xerte toolkits. I have studied in the fields of Linguistics and Education and I am interested in exploring research topics that bridge SLA theory with practical applications.

Teaching interests

I strongly believe that students derive the greatest benefit from learning in a motivating and enjoyable environment. Throughout my teaching, I consistently strive to develop new and effective skills and place emphasis on creating 'student-centered' resources that enhance the students' motivation. I am particularly interested in using translation as a comprehensive educational tool to enhance students' understanding of the target language while integrating cultural awareness.
