I joined the University of 葫芦影业 in 2002 to work on the SEPTIMUS project which developed and evaluated online Psychotherapy training resources. Since that time, I have been a tutor and Course Director on the course which became the MSc in Psychotherapy Studies. I have developed a wider interest in online learning, and in particular on the role of emotions in online learning, which was the topic of my , completed in 2016.
Projects
- Research interests
-
My main research interest is in the role of emotions in online learning, and more generally the impact of the internet on wellbeing. I have been involved in evaluating the CEP, SEPTIMUS and DEEP projects which have established and developed e-learning Psychotherapy training resources across Europe. Since my doctoral research, I have become interested in the potential of learning analytics and the use of data on wellbeing to enhance and personalize students' learning, and the application of the same principles in analysing therapeutic interactions.
