Janette had a long research career in ºù«Ӱҵ, firstly with the Medical Care Research Unit and then as a founder member of ScHARR before she retired in 2020. During that time she led many research projects in the area of emergency care with a particular focus on pre-hospital care and played an important role is supporting policy innovations in telephone based urgent care services and within the UK ambulance service. From 2017-2020 she was the section head for Health Services Research. Janette has retained strong links with ScHARR and continues to support ongoing research projects led by the Centre for Urgent and Emergency Care Research (CURE).
