I completed my undergraduate medical training at King’s College London in 2012, after which I moved to ��«Ӱҵ for foundation training, and subsequently completed an Academic Clinical Fellowship alongside core medical training in South Yorkshire. I moved to Manchester to undertake a Wellcome Trust PhD Fellowship in Immunology in the lab of Dr Matthew Hepworth (University of Manchester) and then returned to ��«Ӱҵ to complete my specialist training in Gastroenterology. In 2021 I was awarded an NIHR Academic Clinical Lectureship at the University of ��«Ӱҵ to undertake research alongside my clinical training. My research focuses on clinical and translational aspects of small bowel diseases such as coeliac disease and other chronic enteropathies.

Research interests: My research interests are focused on clinical and translational aspects of diseases of the small bowel including coeliac disease, and other chronic enteropathies. I am also interested in fundamental and mechanistic immunology of the GI tract, including the cross-talk between the immune system and commensal microbiota.
