Profile

I started my PhD studies at the University of ºù«Ӱҵ in October 2018. I graduated from Hunan University with my Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, and then completed a Master’s degree in Health Economics at the University of ºù«Ӱҵ. Previously, I served as statistician in a healthcare consultancy in Shanghai, China, where I worked with a small team for statistical analysis of large medical databases and health economics modelling. Now, I am still working part time for them.

Research interests

Title of PhD: Study on policy effect of integration of urban and rural basic medical insurance in China (undetermined)

My main research interests lie in applied micro-econometrics in healthcare, the analysis of micro level data on patient behaviours, and policy effect. I am also interested in economic evaluation modelling in Health Technology Assessment (HTA), and the statistical analysis of large medical databases.
