The festive season is nearly here and as the Hub wraps up the year, we want to send thank you to everyone for your continued support. We remain fully committed to creating impactful change and driving innovation in healthcare. Over the past year, the Hub team learned so much from implementing the first round of funding and, following an incredibly valuable roundtable discussion, decided to take the time to reflect on these insights to ensure the next phase is even more effective.

As a result, the next round of funding will be scheduled to start mid-2025, allowing time for the Hub to refine its approach. The Hub has also decided there will be one further cohort of funded projects rather than two, allowing us to focus efforts and resources for maximum impact.

In the upcoming round, the structure and process for funded projects will be evolving. For the first time, the unmet needs driving these projects will be researched and provided by the South Yorkshire Digital Health Hub and NHS South Yorkshire ICB. This collaboration will ensure our funding addresses the most pressing challenges in our region’s healthcare.

Thank you for your interest as we work to deliver a more focused and collaborative approach. We’re excited to share more details soon and look forward to supporting innovative solutions that make a real difference for South Yorkshire.
