Description

“It’s never too late to put it off” - Procrastination in academic study

Procrastination - putting things off, despite knowing there might be negative consequences - is a very common behaviour, and something that can affect students at all levels of academic study.

This session will explore what procrastination looks and feels like, some of the reasons it can occur, and, perhaps most importantly, what steps can be taken to address it.

The session will be interactive and participatory, and offer students a taster of what studying Education at university is like - bringing together different subject areas, concerned with people’s experiences, and above all, focused on you as an active learner.

This session is suitable for students in years 12 and 13.
