Description

This online taster session will give you a feel for what it's like to study English at university. You'll hear a taster lecture by one of our academics in English; there'll be time for questions afterwards; and you'll be able to ask staff and current undergraduates about studying English at ºù«Ӱҵ.

Playing with Silence - Ten things the poet's don't want you to hear

This session is about how things that are unspoken, that are between the lines, make poetry matter and make literature work.

The insights are applicable to any kind of close reading, not just poetry.

This session is suitable for students in years 12 and 13.
