In this interactive taster session, we'll explore the exciting world of General Engineering.
You'll learn the fundamentals of what general engineering is, and the General Engineering courses offered at the University of ºù«Ӱҵ.
We'll use electric cars as a practical example to show how different engineering disciplines work together.
You'll have the chance to chat with students and staff to get all your questions answered.
It's a great way to enhance your knowledge on subjects that you might not have covered in A Level and you might get a head start in some university content.

- 5pm: Log in and get comfortable
- 5.05pm: Introduction to General Engineering
- 5.15pm: Taster lecture
- 5.45pm: Question and answer session with current students

International undergraduate scholarships
We offer a generous package of financial support for international undergraduate students, including scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee (worth up to £40,000 for four-year programmes).
Applications are open for existing offer holders for an undergraduate degree programme starting in autumn 2025.
