Personal Identity

What does it take for us to continue existing from one time to another?

If you could see future people in a crystal ball, what would determine which of them, if any, was you?

Would transplanting your brain give someone else a new brain, or would it give you a new body?

All these questions, and more, will be answered as part of this session.

This session is suitable for students in years 12 and 13. 

The session was really useful and everyone was extremely friendly so I would definitely recommend them. It was a helpful taster of what the subject might be like and where you may be able to go with it.

• 4pm: Log in and get comfortable
• 4.05pm: Introduction to the department
• 4.15pm: Taster lecture
• 4.45pm: Question and answer session about the lecture
• 5pm: Question and answer session with an admissions tutor and current students
