Gritstone and God: our new Free Church / Anglican worship

Our new affirming and inclusive Christian worship offering is called Gritstone and God.

It includes a 10-minute daily prayer at 12pm/noon on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays in semester time, and several special services. 

Our upcoming Gritstone and God Wednesday gatherings are on 26 March 2025 and 21 May 2025. All are at 2.10pm-2.50pm in the BNBR Life Centre.

Christian student societies

There are a number of Christian societies affiliated to the Students' Union.

Some are denominational, some relate to specific areas of study or extra-curricular activities, while others represent particular theological positions or areas of Christian life.

Christian Medical Fellowship

We aim to unite Christian Medical students in the University, and support one another in our faith.

Christian Orthodox Society

In our weekly meetings we discuss relevant and current topics from the point of view of our faith. We also dedicate periods in the year to studying certain books of the bible. We pride ourselves in offering an in-depth education of both old and new testament and in understanding who God is and what His intention for our lives.

Catholic Society

International scholarships

We offer a generous package of financial support for international students, including undergraduate and postgraduate taught scholarships worth £10,000 towards the annual tuition fee.

Applications are open for existing offer holders for programmes starting in autumn 2025.
