Xuekai graduated from the University of Queensland in Australia in 2020 with a master's degree in international economics and finance. Later, he worked as a management trainee at CITIC Securities in China from June 2020 to June 2021, and continued to study for a doctor's degree at the University of ºù«Ӱҵ in September 2021. His thesis mainly focuses on the effectiveness of the policy of involuntary technology transfer (ITT policy) in China's economy from the perspective of technology transfer, one of the focuses of the Sino-US trade war.
