Emma Marshall - Keynote speaker

Emma is a consultant and business mentor working with organisations to transform the tech eco system in ºù«Ӱҵ. She has a passion for start-ups and scale-ups, helping to support excellent innovative businesses which are the key to economic prosperity, uplifting health and wealth for the people of the city region.

She leads on The Cooper Project for ºù«Ӱҵ Technology Parks and the investment hub, incubating tomorrows tech companies and helping scale-ups get funding, while also working with ºù«Ӱҵ Digital whose mission is to promote, connect and represent the tech community. 

Emma is also the Chair of the ºù«Ӱҵ Chamber of Commerce Board to help contribute to ºù«Ӱҵ being the best place to start and run a business. Adding to her already busy schedule, Emma also supports ºù«Ӱҵ Women in Tech, a volunteer organisation dedicated to building diversity.

Nikki Thomas - Panel Member 

Nicky Thomas is a business connector and owner and founder of The Growth Community – a place where growth minded people, genuinely work together to support each other to be successful in business. She invites people to come along and network with purpose - whether that is as a member of her community or as a guest at one of her very enjoyable networking meetings. 

Nicky has an extensive and varied background in marketing starting out in direct marketing in 1996 (when we got loads of marketing letters through the post). She worked in the very early days of ecommerce marketing for an array of internet start-ups before taking a side step into internal marketing consultancy. This was the catalyst to starting up her first business in 2004 as an internal communications consultancy which she ran successfully for 10 years. 

The Growth Community is her third business which launched in April 2020. It has expanded across Yorkshire, Humber, Lincolnshire and North Nottinghamshire and offers a unique networking experience to growth minded professional people who love to collaborate.
