Workshops
Between October 2020 and July 2021, several workshops were hosted online by the Institute for Sustainable Food, involving more than 30 Zimbabwean organisations in total (18 NGOs and 14 CBOs) and approx. 50 individuals.
More than 125 hours of workshops have been facilitated so far for the partner organisations.
Digital tools
A web browser application is being developed in collaboration with the School of Computer Science, to support users with video proposal production and uploading, which will complement a set of digital help sheets, demonstration videos and a digital handbook.
These online digital learning tools will be available for free download by September 2021.
Video proposals
With several now complete, groups have been supported to set up to crowdfund for their community based sustainable food projects.

Wider engagement
Make it Grow is taking up publicity opportunities to support the fundraising efforts of the community project groups involved.
We recently participated in Planet to Plate: a three-day festival of talks, performances and live events.
Make it Grow is hosting four University of ºù«Ӱҵ students to undertake research placements or internships, via the and the Graduate Internship Scheme. Research topics include: Participant experiences of and reflections on spaces of digital inclusion or exclusion; Community Project Impact Pathways.
