Dr Shilpa Taneja has over 8 years of broad experience in academia, specializing in the dynamic domain of marketing. Throughout her academic tenure, she has cultivated a versatile skill set, excelling in lecturing, mentorship, supervision, and the art of scientific research writing. Her expertise extends to advanced research methodologies, establishing a strong foundation in analytical prowess. Dr Taneja's passion lies in exploring the intersections of sustainability, digitalization, branding, strategy, and the evolving landscape of digital platforms.

Her scholarly work has been published in prestigious international journals, including the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services, Business Strategy and the Environment, and IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, to name a few.

Teaching interests

Dr Taneja has gained valuable experience teaching students in diverse areas, including marketing, general management, and financial services marketing. In her teaching, by using a combination of lecturing and other methods such as case studies, role play, simulation, flip classroom, projects, design challenges, guest speakers, and so on based on the different topics to be taught, she strives to ensure an inclusive classroom environment for all types of learners. She always aims to adopt innovative and interactive teaching methods and strategies in her class to prompt students to participate freely.

She has supervised 30 postgraduate student projects and mentored 40 students during her academic tenure.
