BMS6007: Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomics and Metabolomics Course
13-17 January 2025
Course summary
We are very pleased to announce that registration for the 10th annual Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomics & Metabolomics Course is now open.
This course is designed to provide an introduction to mass spectrometry and how it may be applied to quantitatively characterise biomolecules such as proteins and metabolites. The purpose of the course is to provide attendees with an insight into the capabilities of mass spectrometry and to explore how it may be useful for their research projects.
It will take place over five morning sessions, the content of which is described in the . This course is a Doctoral Development Programme module (BMS6007), but staff are very welcome (and encouraged!) to attend. Sessions will be held in person ( Arts Tower Lecture Theatre 6) from Monday 13th to Friday 17th of January 2025.
Please register by completing this form
Any queries should be sent to the course director, Dr Mark Collins (mark.collins@sheffield.ac.uk).
Topics will include the following
- Introduction to Mass Spectrometry and Chromatography
