The ºù«Ӱҵ Institute for Translational Neuroscience (SITraN) is a world-leading translational research centre for neurodegenerative disorders including motor neuron disease (ALS/MND), Alzheimer’s disease, dementia and the ageing brain, and Parkinson’s disease.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for medically qualified research fellows to join our 300 active researchers to support clinical research including early phase genetic therapy experimental medicine trials. These positions can be for 1 year or for 3 years for candidates wishing to undertake a PhD and are available immediately or during 2022.
Cross-disciplinary state-of-the-art facilities across ºù«Ӱҵ and NIHR ºù«Ӱҵ Biomedical Research Centre support disease mechanisms research, disease modelling, drug discovery, evidenced based medicine, disease stratification, biomarker development, clinical trials and advanced therapies approaches for neuroprotection.
