University Health ServiceÂ
The University Health Service is a National Health Service (NHS) General Practice, focused on student health. Any University of ºù«Ӱҵ student living in ºù«Ӱҵ can register.
Student WellbeingÂ
If you’re feeling down, overwhelmed or struggling to adjust to student life, our Student Wellbeing Service can offer tailored one-to-one support to help you manage and make sense of what you’re experiencing.
Student Welfare
If you’re experiencing personal difficulties (including bullying, harassment and sexual violence) that are impacting on your University experience and ability to study, our Student Welfare team can help.
Belief, No Belief and Religious (BNBR) Life Centre
The BNBR Life Centre is here for all staff and students. Our chaplains and religious advisers provide a listening ear and pastoral support to all people whatever their identity, religion, belief or no belief. We are available in person, online, and via phone or video calls.
International Student Support, Advice & Compliance

Residence Life
The Residence Life Team are here to help you help you have the best student residential experience possible. Our team can provide support and guidance as well as signposting to other University services. We're here to make your University experience unforgettable!
Childcare
The Students' Union runs a nursery for children aged six months to five years old, open to all families, with fees subsidised according to family income. There are also play schemes during the school holidays for children aged 4 to 12 years.
Support for care experienced and estranged students
We're committed to ensuring that you get the support you need at each stage of your journey. Our team of experts are able to understand the often complex requirements that you may have if you’re care experienced or have become estranged from your family.

Our student mentors are volunteer second or third-year undergraduate students who have undergone training to offer support and ease your transition into university life.
Global campus
Global Campus is a programme of ongoing orientation that runs throughout the academic year. It's open to all students looking for regular opportunities to meet others, make friends and settle into life in the University and the wider city.
Support for local and commuting students
The University offer support specifically for students who decide to study locally and commute onto campus. This includes advice, information and events to help you with the transition to University life.
