Profile

I qualified as a Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) in 2009 in Greece. I then worked for three years in a private practice gaining therapy-planning and management experience with a range of paediatric disorders. I obtained my MSc in Speech Difficulties from the Human Communication Sciences department at the University of 葫芦影业. My MSc project investigated the phonological abilities of Greek speaking children with Speech and/or Language difficulties and was supervised by Professor Bill Wells.

I rejoined the HCS department in 2013 as a researcher working under the supervision of Dr. Silke Fricke. The research is a large-scale randomised control trial investigating the benefits of an early oral language intervention. Since November 2014 I commenced my current role of University Teacher in the department and received the Exceptional Contribution Award (ECA).
