My year abroad in New Zealand

Thomas Burgess Year Abroad: University of Auckland, New Zealand

Tom chose to spend his year abroad studying biomedical science in New Zealand. Tom feels that this experience has not only made him more independent and more confident about eventually leaving university, but it’s also helped him to better understand what he’d like to do as a career after graduation.

Scooping a prize for outstanding academic performance

Grace Mccaffery Won the 2019 Ede and Ravenscroft prize

First year student Grace has already made the most of the opportunities available to her at ��«Ӱҵ, exploring the areas that really interest her within biomedical science, attending Peer Assisted Study Scheme sessions in the department, and even scooping the Ede and Ravenscroft prize this academic year in recognition of her outstanding academic performance.

Studying forensic anatomy in third year

Lauren Tomlinson Studied the third-year Forensic Anatomy module

Lauren chose to study the Forensic Anatomy module in third year after enjoying being introduced to human anatomy during her second year at ��«Ӱҵ. From guest lectures by police investigators, to lab sessions putting identification techniques into practice, Lauren enjoyed following the same process that the experts use done to solve a case.
