As a new academic year begins, we are keen to do everything possible to remain a safe and secure place to live, work and study.
ºù«Ӱҵ is reported to be one of the safest large cities in the UK, but like any big city anywhere in the world it is not crime free.
Our Security Services team has a wealth of knowledge and can provide advice, guidance, and answer any questions you may have about personal safety.
We will be holding crime reduction stalls from 10am to 4pm on Monday 25 (Information Commons), Wednesday 27 (Diamond), and Thursday 28 (Mappin Building). Members of Security Services and South Yorkshire Police will be answering questions, giving out useful freebies such as personal alarms and property marking kits, and demonstrating the best ways to keep you and your property as safe as possible.
Further crime reduction events will be run throughout the year across campus and student accommodation areas.
